À Deux Pas is a platform that promotes local tourism and local getaways. The idea is to show that you don't always have to go far to get away from it all. In opposition to travel, the project proposes a gentle and committed alternative, close to nature and the territories.
The aim of this site was to translate this promise into an organic, fluid and engaging design, while facilitating access to offers: destinations, activities, bookings. We had to create an experience that would inspire curiosity while reassuring visitors.
The chromatic universe is directly inspired by autumnal nature: earthy browns, deep greens, soft beiges... A warm, soothing atmosphere that invites you to slow down and contemplate.
Elegant, legible serif typography adds a warm, editorial touch. It gives the site a welcoming personality, while facilitating reading on all screens.
The layout guides the user with subtlety: a strong title, well-spaced CTAs, and an alternation between visual immersion and useful information. Elements follow one another with rhythm, without overload.
Pictograms and labels (Trustpilot, filters, categories) are carefully integrated in a soft, rounded logic, reinforcing the feeling of a human, accessible site.
The background image is central: a natural landscape captured at the golden hour, creating an immediate sense of immersion. The treatment of the visuals relies on texture and light to evoke the real, the lived.
The buttons use organic shapes and natural colors. One of them plays on a typographic contrast: "Scroll on TikTok" vs. "Browse the world" - a well-placed touch of humor that conveys the spirit of the project.
Navigation is designed to be intuitive, progressive and focused on the desire to explore. Filters, categories and calls to action are non-intrusive. The site is fully responsive, with an SEO-friendly structure and discreet but effective interactive elements.
The booking tunnel remains accessible without detour, and trust is reinforced by customer reviews and clear content.
This project mobilized my skills in art direction, UI/UX design, immersive content design and progressive navigation logic. The layout was created on Figma, with a focus on smooth animations and semantic hierarchy.
The on-page SEO strategy was integrated right from the design stage: Hn markup, accessible text, mobile performance, and image optimization.
